Beyond the cemetery
Donor and sponsor walls for schools, public agencies and private organizations. Stone is our specialty, granite and marble, cut, lettered and installed by our own crew, from our Colma workshop, since 1984.
Capital campaign walls, named gifts, alumni and class recognition, athletics and building dedications.
Civic dedications, service recognition and commemorative installations for cities, districts and departments.
Foundations, congregations, hospitals and companies recognizing donors, founders or long service.
Most commercial projects arrive with an architect, designer or committee already involved. We work from their drawings, advise early on what the material will and will not do, and take it through fabrication and installation. Where there is no designer yet, we can start from the first sketch with you.
Most often we fabricate and the contractor coordinates the trades. Where a piece is too large or too far to bring to the workshop, we work on site instead.
A donor wall is a list of names that has to be accurate, legible and permanent. That is the work we do every day, and we have been doing it in one place for forty years.
The difference that usually matters most is what happens afterwards. Campaigns keep raising money and organizations keep adding names, and adding a name to finished stone is a specialty of ours rather than a problem.
We engrave and carve either in our shop or on site, so names can be added to a wall where it already stands. A wall we build can keep growing for decades without being taken down or replaced.
Email us at office@acmememorial.com with the scale, the material you have in mind and when you need it installed. Drawings are welcome if you have them. We will come back with a direction and a number.
